Free-Range Poultry
Our traditional bronze turkeys are reared with the highest welfare standards and are truly free-range on the surrounding grassland. They are slow-growing, finished at 25 weeks of age, compared to the usual intensive bird at 9-14 weeks, making for a rich, full-flavoured meat with a succulent tenderness and a wonderful gravy!
AND for the first time ever, we've added a lively flock of free-range geese to our paddocks! After hatching on the farm, they've taken advantage of our lush, green grass and our home-grown cereals.
All the birds are fed with natural proteins and no growth promoters, drugs or routine antibiotic additives. They are dry-plucked by hand on the farm premises and hang before processing.
Your fresh bird can be collected from the farm gate on 23rd or 24th December between 9am and 5pm.
